Jeff,

Everything's derived now and looking good.

Thanks for the quick assistance. I've since located the pdf with detailed instructions (required files, etc.) so this won't happen in future. I only post about 2x a year and forget the drill.

Hey Jeff

I spoke too soon. I noticed that a couple of track title tags were incorrect. I went in and corrected them in the metadata edit page, but got an error after submission:

http://www.us.archive.org/log_show.php?task_id=130280540

I've read the log but don't understand what the problem is.

Could the scripts be upgraded to pull the Track title out of the FLAC metadata (much the same way it pulls the Creator and Album are pulled)? That would save some time for uploaders. I looked in the FAQ but didn't see anything on why this isn't implemented already.

Thanks,
John

you should be able to use "Edit item" to change the playlist title now. the track title is pulled from the .txt file for etree items.

Thanks again, Jeff!

For anyone else finding this thread, the Info file (.txt) format is detailed here:

http://wiki.etree.org/index.php?page=SeedingGuidelines

under the 'Creating an Info File' heading (scroll down). In my case, it looks like it didn't work correctly because I put an unnumbered entry in the file called 'Encore' which fouled up the auto-naming of the tracks.
